MUST BE LIVING IN AUSTRALIA TO APPLY
A successful and well-known manufacturer and supplier of tooling and machine systems for the construction industry needs a Fitter Machinist to join their service team.
In this role, you will be working within the workshop and, at times, on site servicing and repairing, plus doing preventative maintenance on machines that are used within the construction industry.
- Service and repair cutting, drilling, polishing, and grinding equipment.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections of new machines.
- Manufacture new and refurbish parts.
- Use computer to identify spare parts.
- Conduct testing of machinery.
- Engage in discussions with customer service, sales representatives, and occasionally face-to-face interactions with customers.
This role does require travel locally & at times, Interstate. This is a permanent full-time position with an excellent wage.
TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Trade qualifications.
- Maintenance or SERVICE TECH skills.
- Understanding petrol or diesel engines ideal
- Electrical disconnect / connection is also ideal
- Industrial Machine experience.
- Ability to follow Wiring diagrams and parts drawings.
- Machining skills ideal Lathe & Milling.
- A forklift or EWP license will be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
