Position Title: Fitter Welder - PM Shift
Mon- Fri 12pm - 8pm OR 2pm - 10pm

Position Overview:
As a Fitter Welder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production facility. You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing mechanical components and machinery, with a focus on welding and fitting tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Welding and Fabrication:
- Perform various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Arc) to join metal components according to engineering specifications.
- Fabricate and repair metal structures, equipment, and machinery parts.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately complete welding and fabrication tasks.
Mechanical Maintenance:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure smooth operations.
Safety and Compliance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct work in compliance with relevant industry standards and company policies.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or potential risks in the workplace.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with colleagues across different departments to support production goals and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and share relevant information.
- Participate in training programs and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance skills and expertise.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Fitter Welder or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with fabrication tools and machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (e.g., Welding Certification) are desirable.
