Fixed Plant Serviceman

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Fixed Plant Serviceman you will be part of a passionate team working a lifestyle DIDO roster, 8:6 days; 7:7 nights. This permanent opportunity will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and be a vital member of the Maintenance Department. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Actively maintain knowledge of site Standards and Procedures and other documents
• Conduct refueling operations
• Assist Fitters where required
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
• General workshop duties
• Conduct risk assessments
• Work closely and cooperatively with the site team to ensure safety and operational targets are achieved

ABOUT YOU

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Serviceman (site based) 
• Ability to work collaboratively in a Fixed Plant team
• General knowledge of workshop duties
• Be a team player and work well in a team environment.  
• Strong communication skills, problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
• LF Forklift, Working at Heights, Confined Space, EWP, heavy machinery competencies – desirable
• Current manual Drivers Licence
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing operational demands
