Fleet Dispatch Operator

We are a family owned business operating on the Gold Coast into Brisbane and Northern NSW daily.

Where looking for a Dispatcher / Fleet Controller to join our friendly Team. This position is fast paced, busy environment where service delivery is our number one priority.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch Coordination:

• Receive and prioritize incoming calls, email, or computer systems.
• Allocate and dispatch fleet to customer locations based on urgency, proximity, and availability of resources.
• Maintain constant communication with drivers to provide clear instructions, updates, and support throughout the dispatch process.
• Monitor the progress of ongoing jobs and adjust dispatch jobs as necessary to ensure timely completion.

Customer Service:

• Interact with customers .
• Provide accurate estimated arrival times and regular updates to customers regarding the status of their job.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, striving to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

Data Management:

• Maintain accurate records of service requests, dispatch activities, and job statuses using the company's database or dispatching software.
• Basic computer skills (outlook, Excel & Word)

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with other dispatchers, tow truck drivers, and administrative staff to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.
• Communicate effectively with team members to relay important information, updates, and feedback.

The ideal candidate must possess:

• Experience in a logistic dispatch / allocator role preferred. 
• High attention to detail, accuracy and follow up.
• Can work autonomously when required
• Excellent communication skill in both verbal & written
