Flexographic Printer - Labels

Print Media Group is one of Australia’s leading Innovative Print Specialists. We are a proudly 100% Australian owned business employing 200 staff nationally in manufacturing and specialised print solutions.

We are looking for self adhesive label printers to join the team at our Macquarie Park, Sydney site.  Our facility is clean, and climate controlled with State-of-the-Art equipment.

Ideal applicants will need to be willing to learn all aspects of our label and printing business whilst bringing label printing experience. We need printers to be versatile in both digital and analogue technologies, such as HP Indigo, Digicon finishing and flexographic presses. Joining a great team you will need to work in a team environment whilst also working independently.

The successful applicant will have the following skills: 

• Previous printing experience
• Experience in the label industry preferred 
• Career driven and looking for opportunities to grow and develop
• Excellent communication skills
• Be pro-active and work well in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure
• Have a positive outlook on life and your work (no negative vibes here)
• Ability to read and follow work ticket instructions
• Ability to understand and control colour management
• Able to trouble shoot and resolve on press concerns as they arise.
• Be reliable and punctual.

Reporting to the Production Manager your responsibilities will include:

 Printing of jobs using Label Printing Machines in a timely and efficient manner

• Carry out work in accordance with company safety and quality processes and procedures
• Meet Production output KPI's
• Appetite for cross training on different machines
• Work with integrity and be a team player
• Machine cleaning and maintenance as required
• General housekeeping

The position is permanent full time Monday to Friday working a 40 hour week. 

Candidates need to be flexible with the ability to work afternoon shifts also as required. We currently seek those interested in working afternoon shifts.

Salary will be dependent on experience and skills.
