AddressAspen Medical is contracted to provide onsite medical services and personnel on behalf of our Oil and Gas customer, Santos. We currently have an exciting opportunity for Intensive Care/Extended Care Paramedics to join our team in South Australia. Working as part of a small team in a remote location, your primary responsibility will be supporting the retrieval and evacuation of ill and injured patients. Other duties include providing primary healthcare, participating in emergency planning, managing occupational injuries and illnesses, and delivering health and wellness education programs.
What we are looking for:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Current/recent experience practicing as an Intensive Care/Extended Care Paramedic including aeromedical retrievals
- Current Advanced Life Support certification (ALS2 preferred)
- Current Drug and Alcohol testing qualification (or be willing to obtain)
- Current Trauma management qualification such as Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), International Trauma Life Support (ITLS)or equivalent
