365 Plant Hire is a leading provider of plant and equipment to the civil, construction and mining industries with our heavy machinery available to hire 365 days a year operating throughout Western Australia.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Float Operator to be able to load, unload and drive our 50-tonne float (drake spreader) from our civil and mining equipment yard in Port Hedland, either locally or FIFO roster.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following:
- Valid Australian manual driver’s license, and able to drive road ranger gear boxes
- Valid WA MC/HC drivers license
- OHS Construction Card or NRT – Construction Industry Induction (White)
- Previous experience loading, unloading and driving civil/mining equipment
- Basic knowledge to maintain 50t Float and prime mover
- Can-do attitude to work as a team and assist in yard duties where possible
- Must be available to complete mobilisation requirements, including medicals, online and onsite inductions
In addition to the qualifications and experience mentioned above, we are looking for individuals who possess the following attributes:
- Ability to pass an Onsite and Commercial Drivers Medical
- Provide a National Police Clearance (-3x months old)
- Diligent worker, with proven record of maintaining positive working relationships within teams
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills, tasks and technologies
- Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to all safety protocols
- Sound Mechanical Aptitude
