We are currently looking for a skilled Float Truck Operator who will be responsible for transporting heavy machinery and equipment to various project sites across Sydney. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of equipment, supporting our operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Float truck to transport heavy machinery and equipment to designated project sites.
- Secure loads and ensure adherence to transport regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the Float truck and equipment.
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to schedule deliveries effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and complete necessary paperwork.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Float Truck Operator in the civil construction or transportation industry.
- Valid truck license with experience in Float truck operations.
- Strong understanding of load securing techniques and transport regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
