About this Role:
We are currently looking for motivated and experienced waitstaff to join our team. As a front-of-house, you will be working in cocktail parties, sit-down dinner, boardroom meetings and festivals.
In this role, you will be:
- Delivering orders to tables in a timely manner, ensuring the correct items are served, and providing an attentive and professional service
- Preparing the areas before service, including setting tables with cutlery, glassware, and condiments. After service, clearing tables promptly
- Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the area, including table surfaces, chairs, and floors, to create a pleasant and sanitary environment for guests
- Ensuring guests' needs are met promptly and courteously, and addressing any concerns or complaints in a professional and proactive manner.
- Collaborating with other Food and beverage attendants and management to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Supporting special events, banquets, or functions by providing Food and beverage service as required
- Complying with food safety standards, responsible service of alcohol guidelines, and any other health and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment
- Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) competency card.
- Previous Waitstaff experience in venues and private homes is an advantage.
- Great Attitude & Punctuality are a must
- Ability to carry 3 plates and clear 5
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on your own offering 5-star service standards
- Grooming – From head to toes, immaculate and smart presentation
Hourly rate - Award rate plus extras based on your experience, performance, client feedback, and SixthSense hospitality demonstrated.
