With floor to ceiling glass, and views overlooking the Barilla Bay Oyster Farm and Coal River Valley our establishment has carved a unique path for aqua-tourism in Tasmania. Guests enjoy great local produce along with fresh oysters on a daily basis, come be apart of the dining experience our customers have grown to love and expect.
About you
We are seeking a passionate Food and Beverage attendant with table service experience in a restaurant environment. You will need to have good knowledge of Tasmanian wine, as well as experience in mixing a wide variety of cocktails. You will have exceptional customer service skills and a positive and enthusiastic attitude. Minimum 2 years experience.
You will need to have and possess the following.
Exceptional customer service and a keen eye for detail.
Experience in functions & events.
Impeccable presentation
Current RSA
Drivers licence essential.
Cash handling & shift reconciliations
Experience using point of sale systems.
A team player
Sound understanding of wine, cocktails & other beverages.
Able to work under pressure.
Ability to work in other areas of the business when required eg. Retail Shop & Tourism.
What we can offer
In return we can offer working in a small friendly team environment working hard but having fun whilst doing so. No early starts, have a sleep in, shifts generally start around 10am and bonus its only 3 night shifts a week! We have plenty of onsite parking and you would also receive a discount in our Retail and Restaurant.
