Food & Beverage Supervisor

We are seeking a vibrant and experiencedFood & Beverage Supervisor to assist in leading our team.

Position Overview:

As the Food and Beverage Supervisor, you are accountable for the day-to-day operations of the venue through effective personnel management, maximising revenue opportunities and maintaining cost controls, whilst providing an exceptional customer experience. This role is 'hands on', working as part of a team to provide quality products and quality service.

You have exceptional time management skills and are able to prioritise and delegate tasks to ensure efficiency and profitability. You display professionalism at all times, especially when under pressure and mitigate any negativity. You take initiative to deliver solutions and are committed to ongoing professional development. 

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

• Supervising and supporting your employees to ensure service standards are met and policies and procedures are observed to provide a consistent, high level of service for all levels of customer contact.
• Assist with stock take processes, ordering & barge delivery days.
• Liaise with relevant departments to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
• Comply with safe work practices and manual handling techniques at all times and take a consultative role to assist in achieving a healthy and safe working environment for all staff.

Skills you will possess: 

• Strong computer skills in all aspects including spread sheets & POS systems - Guest Centrix or H & L will be highly regarded.
• Excellent attention to detail with professional and adaptive communication techniques.
• A hands-on approach with strong leadership skills and the ability to successfully train, guide and mentor staff.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Projects a professional and positive image at all times, working efficiently under pressure without negative impact.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Develops and maintains co-operative working relationships.

Mandatory:

• QLD RSA.
• Must have a current National Police Check issued by Queensland Police or able to obtain one within three weeks of commencing employment.
• Employees whose duties include driving a company vehicle, must hold a current QLD Driver’s License.
