Ventia are currently recruiting for Food & Beverage Utility workers to provide great customer service within the service areas, dining areas and bars. This will include customer assistance, bar service, point of sale operation, stacking shelves, displaying stock, cleaning and maintaining a safe work environment.
The role will see you based at the RAAF Base Edinburgh, South Australia. It is a casual position, working rostered hours, anywhere between 6:00am - 9:00pm from Monday - Sunday (7days).
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare bars and dining areas prior to opening.
- Provide exceptional customer service including welcoming customers, responding to their requests in a timely manner and ensuring we have exceeded their expectations.
- Ensure bar services are supplied in line with Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol Standards and licensing arrangements.
- Support stock management initiatives, including stock rotation, review of labels and used by dates, loading and unloading supplies, restocking consumables, and assist with stock take activities.
- Follow safe food handling and sanitation procedures, verify all equipment is working correctly, and is used properly to safely prepare, hold, and serve food and drinks.
Position Requirements
- Prior experience delivering Food and Beverage services. (Required)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certification. (RSA) (Required)
- Sound knowledge of Food Safety Standards, relevant legislation and statutory obligations.
Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance.
As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen.
