With various areas requiring reliable new team members, depending on your previous experience and skill sets, you could find yourself doing any of the following activities:
Handle knife safely, hygienically and effectively
Prepare and slice raw product according to workplace requirements and customer specifications
Cleaning, peeling and processing raw products
Manual packing of products.
Sorting, grading and processing of products with the assistance of automatic or semi-automatic machinery
Washing, packing, stacking and shrink wrapping of produce using any fixed or mobile equipment as aids to the task.
Using hand trolleys and pallet packs
Lifting and moving tubs to and from wheeled trolleysPacking - fast paced, physical role, you must be OK to work in a chiller environment
Cleaning - food work areas, machinery, equipment, all internal parts of factory + some external areas
Entry Level: Annual $49,479 p.a Hourly rates: $25.04 p.h Level 2: Annual $51,020 p.a Hourly rates: $25.82 p.h Level 3: Annual $51,830 p.a Hourly rates: $26.23 p.h Level 4: Annual $52,601 p.a Hourly rates: $26.62 p.h
Level 5: Annual $55,288 p.a Hourly rates: $27.98 p.h
Level 6: Annual $56,908 p.a Hourly rates: $28.80 p.h Entry level pay rates are based on no or little relevant experience, You will have the opportunity to progress through the above levels based on role availability, aptitude for the tasks, prior attendance and performance record. Australian Citizen / Permanent Residency / Full Working Rights in Australia are essential
Pass a Pre-employment medical check including drug alcohol test
Physical Stamina, Attention to detail, Strong Work Ethic, and willing to work as part of a diverse team
Willingness to work in cold environments in a factory setting with ambient machinery noise.
Availability across day and afternoon shift - Early morning and Mid-afternoon starts depending on your assigned role.
