Key Responsibilities
Efficiently plan, select, and verify orders
• Implement proper stock rotation principles, following the "first in first out" rule
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring it is always ready for picking
• Handle any stock returned by drivers by returning it to appropriate bin locations or placing it in designated damaged or low code areas
• Adhere to HACCP regulations and demonstrate understanding of them
• Support stocktaking activities as needed on-site
- Load and unload containers and delivery vehicles as necessary
- Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in picking and/or packing within a warehouse setting
- Forklift experienced in Reach and counterbalance operations highly advantageous.
- Previous machine operation highly desirable.
- Proficiency in working in cold storage environments
- Familiarity with OH&S and food safety programs, particularly in relation to the "cold chain" process
- Effective communication abilities
- Strong understanding of stock control principles
- Forklift certification (High Reach or Counter Balance)
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances
