About OzHarvest:
OzHarvest is a leading Food Rescue organisation on a mission to ‘Nourish our Country’ by stopping good food from going to waste and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. About the role:
Join our team as our ACT Food Rescue Coordinator and play a pivotal role in our collaborative OzHarvest team. In this unique role you’ll get the opportunity to engage with your team and work independently.
You’ll also work with external stakeholders including Food Donors and Recipient Agencies, Service Suppliers and Contractors.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Managing & supporting a team to ensure the smooth running of the daily logistics across your team of Food Rescue Drivers based in both Canberra and Regional NSW
• Recruitment and induction of new team members
• Providing excellent customer service as you communicate with our donors and agencies about daily pickups and deliveries
• Leading a safety focused culture ensuring all work health & safety and food safety regulations are met
• Regular communication with your team to ensure they know what is happening not only on their run, but also across our business
To be successful in this role, you must have:
• Current drivers’ license
• Current and valid police check
• Experience leading a team
