Hours per fortnight73.50 (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
DutiesWork in a small program team that has responsibility for regulatory oversight of Food Safety in Tasmania’s primary production and processing sectors. This includes developing and implementing initiatives that enable industry to assume and maintain responsibility for the safety of its food products and applying legislation so that businesses and their products meet the standards required to attain market access.
Desirable Requirements- Certificate IV or higher in food science, environmental health, compliance or a related field that includes 40 hours of food microbiology.
- Certification against or the ability to attain national units of competency for Food Safety auditors.
- A current unrestricted motor vehicle driver’s licence.
