Established in 1980 the Barilla Bay brand is well known throughout Australia for its premium oysters.
Barilla Bay Oysters are now entering an exciting and significant growth phase in the business and looking to appoint an experienced Foodservice Sales Manager based in Melbourne or Tasmania and reporting directly into the General Manager. The role is responsible for managing the overall sales operations of including managing key accounts across the Australian Region and you will enjoy taking a hands-on role in solution selling and have the ability and passion to develop new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities of the role include :
- Achieving Budgeted Sales & Profit Targets
- Managing existing Foodservice Distributors and end user customer accounts providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues in a timely professional manner.
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities to expand our customer base
- Work closely with the operations team to coordinate inventory for efficient purchasing and profitable sales
- Engage Distributor sales teams and key decision makers to drive sales of our products
- Maintain high levels of market awareness and sharing insights to the business which may benefit the overall business growth strategy
The successful Candidate will have :
- 5+ years Foodservice Industry sales experience – preferably in the seafood category
- A successful track record in new business development
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with current and future customers
- Excellent negotiation, influencing and communication skills
- A positive can-do attitude able to problem solve solution selling
