Growing residential developer builder Running townhouse and apartment projects from smaller up to $10m Great culture and team, great pipeline of work Great opportunity to work with a growing developer building on townhouse and apartment projects as well as some commercial projects too. Our client is a growing developer builder who are seeking an experienced Foreman / Site Manager to work on exciting new build apartment and townhouse projects in the Brisbane City Fringe. Projects will be from smaller up to $10m. As Site Foreman / Site Manager, you will be responsible for general construction and building schedules, ensuring that the projects are completed to documented drawings, managing site subcontractors, safety, specifications, and cost standards. Having experience across new build, refurb and fit-out will be looked at and having a strong commercial base knowledge working in a professional environment. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Ensure that onsite HSE and quality inductions are conducted with all onsite staff / subcontractors Develop overall project plans to meet head contract requirements Coordinate site infrastructure planning Organise all site inspections by clients, architects, authorities as required Provide updates to the client and attend client meetings Assist with preparation of scopes of work Liaise with Contracts Administrator to ensure relevant insurances, work method statements have been provided by subcontractors Review progress of activities, ensuring appropriate action is taken to resolve any issues Conduct regular meetings and annual performance management with direct reports Qualifications and Requirements: Trade or building related qualification Minimum 5 years’ experience in site supervision and site management Ideally QBCC Open Site Supervisor Licence First Aid Certificate Sound knowledge of legislation, regulations and standards relating to building sites Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate large site teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate with and manage client expectations Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel This is a permanent full-time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work.
