About the roleWe are looking for fit, motivated people with experience in natural resource management for this adventurous role.This is a casual field based position working within the plantation forestry industry, together with other land management agencies throughout Central Gippsland, Victoria.The role of this position is varied, ranging from assisting with mapping and on ground planning of plantation harvest areas, to various on going native bushland and riparian restoration projects.Training will be provided for suitable applicants.Please note this is a drug free work place.
Desirable skills:- Native plant identification.
- Weed control practices.
- Map reading and bushland navigation.
- 4WD experience.
- Chainsaw operation.
- Chemical users certificate ACUP.
