AddressNational Workforce are working closely with our client - a well-known, leading manufacturer of bakery products to expand their warehouse team! We are looking for quality forklift operators, to help keep the product moving and the warehouse running smoothly.
About the role:
- Location: Braeside
- Counterbalance duties, loading and unloading trucks, moving products.
- Inventory control - Receiving, checking, and storing stock in the designated locations.
- Some manual handling components
- Dry goods & Cold Storage environments - freezer/cool room
- 12hr shifts.
The ideal candidates:
- A valid forklift license with proven experience operating
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team and autonomously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Shift patterns rotate, you will be required to work weekends and 12hr shifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and basic computer skills
- A "Can Do" attitude, willingness to learn and take instructions.
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work
- Physically capable of lifting up to 20kilos on a repetitive basis, and various other manual handling tasks.
- Ability to work in cool room and humid environments.
**Candidates must be able to work 38hrs per week (essential) and provide sufficient Rights to Work in Australia
