Duties include:
- Driving and manoeuvring forklifts on site to load trucks, move pallets and other materials.
- Monitoring condition of forklift, performing minor repairs and reporting mechanical faults.
- Maintaining records of daily operations.
- Strictly adhering to safe methods or work.
- Being vigilant of the working environment for hazardous situations and taking appropriate action to ensure the safety of self and others.
Skills/Qualifications and Experience Required for the Role
- At least relevant AQF Cert II or equivalent AND at least 1.5 years (20+hpw) relevant post qualifications experience OR At least relevant AQF Cert III or equivalent AND at least 1 year (20+hpw) relevant post qualifications experience OR at least 2 years (38+hpw) relevant experience.
- Proven ability to commit to working positively, constructively and effectively in a team environment.
- The ability to relate well to others, including the ability to work in a respectful and collaborative manner.
- Ability to conduct visual checks and trouble shoot common problems and potential safety issues with mobile plant.
- Sound verbal and written communication skills with the ability to read and comprehend written procedures and complete operational records.
- High level of commitment to health and safety, hygiene and food safety procedures and practices.
- A willingness to work outside normal hours, including working night shifts if required.
Salary: $63,000-$65,000 p.a. plus super

Our tomatoes are grown 365 days per year in one of Australia’s largest and most advanced glasshouse facilities, located at Guyra, in the beautiful New England Tablelands region of NSW.
To accommodate our continued business growth, a $67 million expansion project has been completed, increasing our production area by 33% and creating an additional 150 jobs onsite. This expansion project brings our onsite operation to 40ha of glasshouse, 2.5ha propagation nursery, 2 large packing facilities and over 800 staff.
