Looking for experienced HIGHREACH forklift driver with LF license for Day Shift.
The Roles: HIGHREACH Forklift Driver
8am-4pm (Mon - Thursday) and
7am-3pm (Fri)
pay rate: $33
Location: Rutherford
******HIGH REACH ESSENTIAL - they are looking to take this person on permanent after 2 months!!! Salary after 2 months will be between $55-$60k + Super.
Small Team (4-5 people)
A drug and alcohol will need to be completed before commencement.
Double checking about a police check.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
- Processing goods reveived
- Processing orders and labelling them
- printing of picking slips
- ensuring each order is accurately picked
- Ensures goods are stored in line with company procedures and Occupational Health and Safety legislation
- Product Storage
- This will include;
Pallet Storage, General Products, Drugs of Addiction (S8), Cold Items, Merchandising and Bulk Storage. - Allocates bin locations and product locations for new and existing products as per company procedures
- Ensures that housekeeping is being completed and maintained daily. This includes but not limited to production rubbish removal, vehicle cleaning etc.
- Ensures that forklift is operated safely and in line with OHS legislations in undertaking associated tasks
- Ensure forklift operator maintenance is carried out as per user manual

What you must possess:
- Demonstrates punctuality and reliability
- Stays busy without supervision
- Performs all assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
1. Communication and teamwork - Demonstrates a readiness to make decisions based on factual information and where appropriate in consultation with the Warehouse Supervisor and Manager
- Maintains an exemplary degree of professionalism with client, suppliers and all staff at all times
- Demonstrates the ability to adapt communication styles in groups and individual situations
- Contributes at staff meetings and demonstrates initiative in ensuring cooperation and adherence to policies and procedures
- Supports fellow co-workers by undertaking extra tasks as necessary to ensure the daily work routines are completes
2. Problem Solving - Ability to respond to problematic situations promptly and efficiently
- Demonstrates ability to implement change with the Warehouse Supervisor and Manger
3. Time Management - Demonstrates an ability to plan, prioritise and organise daily work schedules and tasks
Technical Requirements:
- Understanding of electronic freight consignment systems
- Understanding of electronic Pallet transaction systems
- Basic understanding of product types and their specific storage requirements
- Understanding of lot number, batch numbers and the concept of FIFO
- Ability to learn and operate ERP computer system for stock control and processing of customer orders
Educations and Qualifications requirements:
- Cert III in Warehouse and Distribution (Desirable but not essential)
- Current Forklift License
- Current Drivers License
Human Relations: - Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Good computer literacy
- Ability to work as part of a multi-skilled team
- Ability to plan and organise work effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability in working in a fast paced environment
- High degree of quality and customer service focus
