Forklift Operator

Norco are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at our busy milk processing plant in Raleigh.

This is a full time position on our afternoon shift 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Monday to Friday. There will also be opportunities for overtime.

Key responsibilities of this position:

• Forklift operation, including stacking and transferring pallets and loading/unloading trucks.
• Stock rotation.
• Ensure that all food safety, quality assurance, and GMP policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Ensure the work area is clean, safe and organised.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Forklift licence and 1-2 years Forklift Operator experience.
• Sound understanding of workplace health and safety and the ability to work in a safe manner.
• Understanding of food manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude as well as advanced problem solving skills
• The ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to accurately complete paperwork with good attention to detail.
• Sound communication, literacy and numeracy skills and computer skills.
