Our client is a thriving family-run business nestled within Rocklea Markets, known for their unwavering commitment to quality and service excellence. They pride themselves on fostering a supportive work environment where every team member plays a crucial role in their success. Operators will not just drive forklifts but be able to load/ unload and pack, take inventory and receivals.
Please note: Typical start time is midnight/ 1 am for an 8 hour shift, with rotating Sundays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to load and unload goods as required
- Pack and load/unload fruit and vegetables according to company standards and procedures
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
- MUST have forklift license and relevant experience
- Ability to handle physical tasks and lift heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in warehouse or logistics roles preferred
