SANECTOR are a dynamic organisation providing the Australian wine & beverage industries a comprehensive range of services relating to bottling, packaging, warehousing and distribution of wine.
We currently have MULTIPLE ROLES AVAILABLE for experienced Forklift / Warehouse Operators to join our SANECTOR Barossateam across both day and afternoon shifts.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for unloading finished goods and placing into warehouse.
- Unloading and moving dry goods from trucks
- Organise finished goods to be dispatched to customer when necessary
- Detail quantity of dry goods used on production line on stock reconciliation forms.
- Ensure pre-start checks are complete and accurate
- Assist with stock takes.
- Support the HACCP Food Safety system by recognizing, solving or reporting defects and problems as they arise.
- Support and maintain compliance with OH&S Policy and take responsibility for solving or reporting workplace hazards.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practice at all times
- Wear and use required safety clothing and equipment, where required
- Keep work area clean and tidy at all times
- Report any problems immediately to your supervisor
Your experience and skills:
- Forklift License (Class LF) and Forklift driving experience.
- Current and valid Victorian Truck Licence (LR or MR)
- Minimum 2 years experience forklift operating including high reach and counter balance essential.
- Glass handling experience highly regarded;
- Minimum 2 years experience in a warehouse environment.
- SAP experience desired, but willing to train
- Understanding of Safety regulations and Quality
- Attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritise workload
- Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised
- Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute positively to the warehouse team
- Manual Handling up to 20kg required
- Computer literate
