Picture yourself in a close-knit crew, where support is second nature, and every day is filled with exciting challenges. As a Metal Recycling Yard person, you'll sort and grade various metal materials while embodying a can-do mindset and embracing continuous learning.
But wait, there's more! We're offering an immediate start with an hourly rate of $32, along with the potential for a temp to perm role based on performance. Shifts run from Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30am and finishing at 4:00pm.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, includes operating a counterbalance forklift, packing recycled products into containers, and performing manual tasks such as lifting and sorting raw materials. Don't forget about maintaining and cleaning the busy recycling yard and sorting copper, aluminium, steel, and other metals with precision.
To embark on this journey, you'll need a valid forklift license with at least 2 years of experience, along with a background in manual handling. Previous exposure to the metal or steel industry will catapult you to the top of our list! Excellent communication skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to start ASAP are also essential. You must be willing to have a Drug + Alcohol screening prior to commencement.
