Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Formulation Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in the formulation of Weight Loss Products and Gummies, with comprehensive knowledge of the entire formulation process, including compliance with regulatory standards such as TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration), and FSANZ (Food Standards Australia New Zealand). The candidate should also be well-versed in sourcing top-quality ingredients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and formulate innovative Weight Loss Products and Gummies that align with our brand and customer needs.
- Ensure all formulations comply with relevant regulatory standards in various markets (TGA, FSANZ, GMP, FDA).
- Conduct thorough research and sourcing of high-quality ingredients.
- Manage the entire formulation process from concept to final product, ensuring efficiency and quality control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and supply chain, to ensure seamless product development and launch.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new ingredients, and regulatory changes.
- Provide technical support and expertise to the team on formulation-related matters.
- Assist in NIP calculations
- Ensure all products meet safety, efficacy, and quality standards.
- Document all formulation processes, protocols, and specifications accurately.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in formulating Weight Loss Products and Gummies.
- In-depth knowledge of NIP, TGA, and FSANZ regulations and requirements.
- Strong understanding of ingredient functionality, sourcing, and quality control.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
