Formwork Carpenter

We are currently seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters who will have the opportunity to work on some of the biggest construction projects taking place in Sydney.

This opportunity will be offered on a Permanent Full-Time basis at 38 hours a week.

The successful candidate will have:

·         Excellent English skills

·         Qualification required: at least Certificate III in relevant area.

·         The right to work in Australia

·         Minimum of 3 years work experience in the construction industry

·         Strong time management skills

Responsibilities include:

·         Construct building elements made of concrete and reinforced concrete

·         Carry out measurements and calculations

·          Read and interpret plans and specifications

·         Erect and dismantle formwork for footings and slabs on ground

·         Construct, erect and dismantle formwork for stairs and ramps

·         Erect and dismantle formwork to suspended slabs, columns, beams and walls

·         Mark and line out formwork

·         Erect and disable formwork

·         Ensuring quality and safety standards are met

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, as well as autonomously where required

·         Installation of different joint systems, for example dowels, cradles, key joints
