Job Description
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated Foundation Primary teacher to join our vibrant community at a large F-6 school in Tarneit, situated in Melbourne's West. This full-time, permanent position is tailored for instructing students in their first year of schooling and is open to both new graduates and experienced educators. Key Duties

• Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the Victorian curriculum
• Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing student behaviour, fostering positive relationships, and promoting mutual respect among students.
• Design and administer assessments, to evaluate students' understanding and provide timely feedback to students and parents on their progress and areas for improvement.
• Provide additional support and assistance to students who require differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with learning disabilities or English language learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to share ideas, resources, and strategies for improving student learning outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings, grade-level planning, and school-wide initiatives to support the school community.

Skills & Experience:

• Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
• Must have a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
• Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Primary advantageous
• Ability to provide contact details for two education-based references from within the last 5 years (student-teacher mentors are acceptable).
