About the Role

Being a Trainer is an extraordinary and rewarding role where you have the opportunity to go home at the end of everyday knowing you have made a difference through:

  • Designing, planning, delivering and evaluating training and assessment to students
  • Monitoring students’ progress and providing ongoing support on their learning journey
  • Creating a teaching environment that embraces diversity and empowers our students to be the best they can be

You will ensure the successful delivery of nationally endorsed Department accredited VET courses, specified under General studies and further education:

  • 22566VIC Certificate I in Work Education
  • 22481VIC Certificate II in Work Education
  • 22567VIC Certificate I in Transition to Education

If you are joining us with years of training experience, we can provide you with autonomy and flexibility. If you are new to training, we will provide you with all the support and coaching you need to become a successful, engaging Trainer!

About You

The successful candidate needs a formal qualification in special education, like a Bachelor of Education with a Special Ed specialisation, a Graduate Diploma of Special Education, or a Master of Special Education. Additionally, you must have:

  • TAE40116 or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  • Experience delivering nationally accredited pre-accredited Foundation Skills courses
  • Ability to achieve assessment deliverables and compliance requirements
  • Experience in blended delivery: remote, online, face to face and industry workshops
  • Demonstrated ability to engage students in a compassionate and understanding way; you are a true people person

Additional requirements:

  • A current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker’s Screening, or the willingness to gain one if successful. We will reimburse you the cost on commencement
  • A current and valid Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to pass a Police Check
  • To ensure the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers, Community Solutions Group requires all authorised workers as defined under the Victorian Public Health Order to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
