About the role:

As our new Franchise Operations Manager for Branded and Associated Networks, you will be in a result driven position, you’ll be responsible for account management and the strategic development of the Helloworld Travel network through enhancement of profitability and mutual success of our Member Agents. You must have excellent relationship management and negotiation skills to champion our products and services across the network.

This role will report into the Head of Brand and Associate and work closely with the other network heads (MTG, HWBT, Magellan) and the Head of Sales to identify and convert new opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring retention and growth of existing Retail members, as per business plan target
  • Assisting in preparing value proposition summaries for Helloworld Members (to support and inform Member retention strategies)
  • Providing account management support to Helloworld Travel Members' enquiries and requests for operational assistance. By recognising trends in support requirements,' you will be empowered to provide input to the strategic direction and management of the Helloworld Travel programs
  • Ensuring the Helloworld Travel value proposition is delivered, communicated, and demonstrated to all members by supporting contract analysis and modelling
  • Supporting the development of revenue management information reporting to Helloworld Members
  • Assisting in implementing and communicating new products and travel industry supplier discounts and deals
  • Collaboratively building strategic business plans with network members and partners
  • Implementing and driving usage of essential member business productivity and improvement tools, including online booking technology
  • Work with contracting to ensure that agent agreements are current and that special conditions etc.
  • Ensuring branded network staff are trained across all Helloworld inhouse systems
  • Agency engagement and support of most profitable supplier contracts for Helloworld
  • Management of a regular call cycle.

 

The ideal and Successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Tertiary education qualifications in Business or a related discipline.
  • Strong commercial acumen. 
  • Ability to drive results across multiple regions.
  • Ability to develop and execute revenue generating strategies. 
  • A self-starter who has the ability to work autonomously. 
  • Can achieve key strategic objectives based on individual key performance Indicators (KPI’s).
  • The ability to maintain close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders/ partners.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Is well networked and well respected within the Travel Industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Management experience and a thorough understanding of the retail travel industry.
