Form of workWe're searching for a talented individual to join our clients team as a full-time permanent Admin All-Rounder. The company is a leading freight forwarder specialising in import and export services, managing both air and sea freight shipments. Their expertise extends to handling a diverse range of cargo, including perishable and non-perishable items, ensuring seamless logistics solutions for their valued clients.
As an Admin All-Rounder, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting their operations, assisting with various administrative tasks essential to the smooth functioning of the business. From managing documentation and coordinating shipments to providing exceptional customer service, you'll be at the heart of operations, contributing to continued success and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting with documentation preparation for import and export shipments
- Coordinating with carriers, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Providing administrative support to various departments as needed
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Maintaining accurate records and databases to track shipments and client information
- Collaborating with team members to optimise operational efficiency
- Proven experience within the Australian Freight Forwarding industry
- Knowledge of Australian customs rules and regulations
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role preferred
