Freight Handler - Forklift Licence And Experience Required

What are we looking for?

We currently have 2 opportunities for individuals who arephysically fit and keen to work, to join our team as a Freight Handler, at our Gold Coast, QLD depot, on a full time basis, on the AM shift, with 3am starts.

This role will be responsible for: 

• Sorting and moving freight including cartons, satchels and parcels into designated bays, cages, and crates.
• Performing repetitive manual handling tasks including lifting heavy and bulky freight items (up to 25kgs at times)
• Reading labels and sorting freight into the correct areas.
• Scanning freight as required.
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Forklift operation
• Support freight movements from our conveyor system to designated areas.
• Palletising and shrink-wrapping freight.
• General warehouse and housekeeping duties as required.
• Ensure you maintain a safe working environment.

What is required?

• You have Steel toe cap shoes or would be willing to get some.  We offer our corporate discount (we provide high-vis shirts or vests).
• You have the right to work in Australia (Including visas). 
• You consent to have a criminal record check.  
• Forklift licence with minimum 2 years experience loading B Double linehauls. 
• You can accommodate early starts, afternoon, or night shifts with your transport to get to and from work.
• You are capable of lifting and moving parcels up to 25kgs (with two people if needed).
