Bonjour Babies is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable casual French teacher for co-curricular primary school programs in the Drummoyne area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact by teaching French to children. We need a temporary replacement for our current teacher for one month, and we’d love to have you join our team! Opportunities for longer term positions for the right candidate.
Role Overview
- Location: Drummoyne area
- Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 am to 3 pm
- Duration: From Tuesday, 30th of July until Tuesday, 27th of August (inclusive) Applicant must be available for training before this date.
- Job Type: Casual
Requirements
- Availability to work on the specified days and times
- A full Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required
- Experience working with children is a must
- Experience teaching children, or a qualification is an advantage
- Must be a native French speaker
- Ability to pass a police check
- A first aid certificate is highly regarded but can be obtained if you get the job
What We Offer

- Competitive pay at $49 per hour for 6 hours per day
- Teaching 7 classes of 40 minutes
Responsibilities
- Deliver French classes to children from Kindy to Year 6
- Develop positive and respectful relationships with children
- Use the provided learning framework to guide your practice
- Support the holistic development of children
- Provide engaging experiences to support children’s play and learning
- Use information about children to inform your practice - Work within a legal and ethical framework
