Job Summary
The WONDER Yoga Front Desk Team Member position is a sales position. You will support client communications, sign students into class, make sales, and answer inquiries. The primary responsibilities of this job are to welcome our clients, sell memberships and help our guests have a pleasurable, safe experience at the studio.
WONDER Yoga’s Front Desk Team Members oversee and maintain a beautiful and clean environment inside and outside the studio, and report to the Client Experience Manager. Front Desk Team Members must have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask efficiently, and provide warm, timely and effective customer service to our clients. They are also responsive, proactively communicate and take action to complete their task list and other projects assigned by the owner and management.
The position starts between $21-25 / hour (plus commission on membership sales) plus statutory rates for Superannuation and includes the additional benefit of unlimited free studio classes.
Prior experience working at yoga studio Front Desks, retail experience or sales experience are preferred. Team members are required to attend regular (paid) staff meetings.
Front Desk Team Member Duties & Responsibilities
- Support all studio functions
- Open and close the studio
- Greet and welcome students with confidence and warmth
- Customer communications via email, phone, and in person
- Check students into classes and workshops
- Process sales transactions and act as a salesperson for our services and membership
- Provide studio orientation to new students
- Straighten and clean the studio daily
- Provide knowledgeable customer service face-to-face, by email, text and over-the-phone
- Provide knowledgeable studio services to practitioners, teachers, and other staff
