- Monitors employee performance, reviews, assists Front End Manager with hiring and interviewing.
- Provides recommendations for resolving personnel issues and training.
- Implements and upholds proper safety procedures and standards.
- Coordinates employee tasks, timely breaks and number of registers needed to reduce lines and maintain efficiency.
- Resolves issues with the checkout process, verifies prices, overrides register system flags.
- Responds courteously to member complaints.
- Maintains MPU accounting for all merchandise within the MPU area.
- Performs support duties for the Front End Management Team.
- Schedules employees, makes supply orders, arranges for equipment maintenance and repair, performs merchandise return audits and oversees the Member Service employees as needed.
- Follows through and ensures employee participation with staffing and marketing promotions.
- Performs cashiering, boxing and other Front End duties as necessary.
- Provides and makes certain prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees and suppliers.
- ASSISTS IN OTHER DEPARTMENTS OF THE WAREHOUSE AS NECESSARY.
