The role

Are you a passionate customer service professional? Do you have an interest in supporting arts and culture on the Mid North Coast? We have an exciting opening for a Front of House Casual to join the supporting cast at the Manning Entertainment Centre.

The Manning Entertainment Centre (MEC) is a vital cultural facility showcasing local and international talent in theatre productions, concerts, festivals, and so much more. As the primary hub for arts and entertainment on the Mid North Coast, the MEC plays an integral role in supporting local schools and performance groups, Taree Arts Council, Manning Valley Choral Society, and Taree and District Eisteddfod.

Our Front of House Casuals are responsible for delivering a high level of customer service to visitors at the MEC and will operate our Box Office and Ticketing Systems, work as Ushers or Bartenders, and assist the Front of House Manager during show time. 

What you'll bring

  • A friendly and professional attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Confidence in navigating computer systems and a willingness to acquire new knowledge and skills.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and First Aid Certificate.
  • Availability to work a range of shifts including weekends and nights.

Salary: $29.68 p/h plus 25% casual loading.   

Location: This position will be based at the Manning Entertainment Centre, 33 Manning River Dr, Taree.

Tenure: Casual.

Closing date: Sunday 31 March 2024 at 11.30 pm.
