Tasmanian Gourmet Seafood's is a family owned business that is growing fast.
As a business we have won multiple awards for both Tasmania's and Australia's ‘Best Fish and Chips’. This is something we take great pride in and strive to continue this amazing accomplishment.
We are heavily involved within the industry and have access to some of the freshest and finest seafood Tasmanian and Australia has to offer.
We are expanding with our food vans as well as our main site with a large Marque able to hold large events.
We are currently looking for experienced Front of House Staff to join our team in our shop and Food Van while we expand into large scale events.
We have Casual positions available and a Full Time position available to the right person.
We are open 7 days a week with our Food Van mainly out of a weekend. Full availability is recommended but not necessary.
Qualifications & experience
We are looking for:
- Someone that has experience in Front of House service, knowledge of seafood is helpful but not critical.
- Someone who would be happy to work alongside our staff in a food van.
- Someone that has experience in events would be an added bonus.
- RSA's are required for Front of House staff.
- License and reliable transport is required.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Serving customers: Table Service and Take away orders as well as fresh fish retail.
- Using a POS and Eftpos system.
- Communicating with our kitchen.
- Delivering food to customers tables.
- Set up and/or pack down of the shop.
- Customer service. Someone that can help us improve in this area.
- Running events in our Marquee.
- Cleaning: Tables, Dishes, Cutlery, Floors, Windows ect.
Food Van Tasks include:
- Restocking.
- Food Preparation.
- Customer service.
- Unpacking.
- Cleaning.
