We are looking for self-motivated Front Office All Roundersto join our award-winning Front Office team on a casual basis, to take care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure by ensuring they have a memorable experience with us.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, as a guest relations professional you will be the face of the Hotel working across reception, guest relations, reservations and telephones, while creating memorable and unique experiences for the guests visiting the Hotel.

Job Description


In this role you will:

  • Providing quality service to guests by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.
  • Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis. 
  • Positively respond to all queries (both internal and external), redirect to departments as required.

  • Proudly promoting the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay through up-selling.

Qualifications


What are we looking for?

  • Previous Experience within a hotel Front Office environment.
  • Previous experience with Opera.
  • Have the ability to think on their feet and problem solve.
  • Can go out of their way to create memorable experiences for our guests.
  • Aware of Brisbane surrounds and in particular South Brisbane and can recommend great things to see and do for our guests.
  • Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients.
  • A high standard of grooming and presentation.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Flexibility regarding your work availability is essential, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays.
