Frontend Software Developer

The frontend developer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing the user interface of our applications. You will play a key role in creating engaging and interactive user experiences that meet the needs of our users. This position requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, scalable, and responsive designs.

TASKS

• Collaborate with the design team to transform mock-ups into fully functional, responsive web applications.
• Develop and maintain high-quality front-end code for web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and resolve issues related to client-side performance.
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure our web applications perform well on mobile and desktop devices.
• Participate in code reviews, adhere to best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and services, ensuring seamless user experiences.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and trends to continuously evolve our products and practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role.
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Strong experience with JavaScript and familiarity with ECMAScript 6 (ES6) standards.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
• Understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.js.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

• Low level of travel is required.
