AddressA private farm in Southwest Australia is expanding its team. We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and resourceful individual and an experienced Fruit Farm Worker to join their team on a full-time basis as soon as possible.
The position is located near Donnybrook. The suitable candidate will be responsible for:
- Planting, pruning and caring for fruit trees & plants according to established guidelines
- Monitoring and managing irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of crops
- Applying fertilisers, pesticides and other chemicals as needed
- Monitoring crop health and identifying signs of diseases, pests or other issues
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the orchards.
Skills required:
- Knowledge of how to harvest different types of fruit efficiently and without damaging the crops iscrucial
- Paying close attention to detail is essential to ensure that fruits are harvested at the right time & sorted properly
- Good time management skills can help ensure that tasks are completed on schedule
- Being flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances is essential in this role
Annual remuneration: $63,000 - $65,000 + superannuation
