My client is an engineering consulting company who specialise in areas including project management, analytics, and software development. They have quickly built a proven business whose clients are the tier one resource companies. They urgently need two developers for initial six month contracts with a strong possibility of extension.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering practices. The ideal candidate will have a proficient Full Stack development background, utilizing C#, .Net framework, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using C# and .NET framework
- Utilize SQL, modern ORMS, and optimization practices to enhance database performance
- Design and implement efficient MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects using Agile development methodologies
- Implement version control using Git and adhere to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform to deploy and maintain scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant applications
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and encourage knowledge sharing within the team
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering
- Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework
- Strong understanding of SQL, modern ORMS, and optimization practices
- Experience with MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework
- Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and version control (Git)
- Experience with continuous delivery and automated deployments (CI/CD)
- Proficient with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Understanding of modern, cloud-based architecture and its principles
