Full Stack Developer - Mobile Applications

Join an established business in their Applications division as they build and launch a brand new revolutionary application worldwide.  The business are well funded and embarking on a new venture where they are using cutting edge technology to change the way that people work and communicate.  This innovative and disruptive app is being built for both IOS and Android and is using the latest technology to build and take to market.
  
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the frontend and backend components of the application, ensuring a seamless user experience across multiple platforms.  You will be making a big impact working with a collaborative team in an agile way, exploring new ideas and finding solutions through development work.  If you are passionate about working on an exciting project with new products this could be the right role for you to help contribute to the success of this organisation. 
  
This role is 5 DAYS A WEEK IN THE NORTH SYDNEY OFFICE. Due to the pace of development and collaboration across different departments, this highly rewarding role will be full time office based.
  
You will have:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on React Native, Swift, and Node.js.
• Proficient in React Native and its ecosystem, including Redux, React Navigation, and other relevant libraries.
• Solid understanding of Swift and iOS development, including UIKit, Core Data, and Apple's design patterns, with experience in integrating animations.
• Expertise in Node.js, with experience in building scalable and secure backend services.
• Familiarity with mobile app deployment processes and app store submission procedures.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for Mobile Applications and backend services.

• Design and develop responsive and performant user interfaces for the chat application using React Native.
• Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional and visually appealing components, including integrating animations into the Swift app to implement features such as real-time messaging, push notifications, file sharing, and audio/video calls.

• Develop and maintain the iOS version of the chat application using Swift, including integrating animations as required.
• Integrate native functionality, such as push notifications, in-app purchases, and deep linking.

• Design and implement scalable and secure backend services using Node.js and relevant frameworks (e.g., Express.js, Nest.js).
• Develop APIs for handling real-time messaging, authentication, user management, and data storage.

• Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and functionality.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
