Role Overview:
As a Lead Software Engineer at House Warming Ventures, you will primarily focus on helping build our exciting in-house startup in the AI and retail sector, which has an MVP built and is ready for refinement before launch. Your role will encompass backend architecture, scalability, reliability, feature development, data collection and analysis, security, mobile app development, and testing. You will work closely with the Lead Product Designer and a Mid-Level Engineer.
Compensation: $75k to $100k + ESOP
Key Responsibilities:
- Backend Development: Manage and enhance our backend infrastructure using Google Cloud, Firebase, and Firestore. Oversee backend architecture, scalability, reliability, and feature development.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Implement and manage data collection processes, automation, and dashboard creation using BigQuery, Google Analytics, and other dashboarding tools.
- Security: Ensure adherence to security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Mobile App Development: Lead the development of mobile applications using Flutter, FlutterFlow, and Dart, integrating various APIs.
- Testing & QA: Conduct comprehensive testing and quality assurance to ensure robust and reliable software delivery.
- Collaboration: Work alongside the Lead Product Designer to ensure seamless integration of backend and front end components.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in backend development with Google Cloud, Firebase, and Firestore.
- Experience in data collection, automation, and dashboard creation with BigQuery, Google Analytics, and other reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of security best practices.
- Expertise in mobile app development using Flutter, FlutterFlow, and Dart.
- Solid experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Knowledge of AI systems and prompt engineering.
Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to showcase previous work, projects, or portfolios.
- No specific years of experience required; students and early-career professionals are welcome.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the required skills and software.
