The family is seeking a reliable and engaging nanny to provide consistent care and support for the child. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating the child’s development through engaging activities and assisting with daily routines. Additionally, the nanny will support the child’s therapies and encourage the application of learned concepts in everyday interactions. Passion for working with children and supporting their development, an energetic, fun-loving, and compassionate attitude, and the ability to maintain a high level of reliability and consistency in caregiving are essential qualifications for this role.
The successful nanny will be provided with experience living in Port Macquarie, with opportunities to explore the local area and beyond, open communication, and be treated as part of the family. Flexible working hours with support available from family and professionals.
Nanny Duties & Responsibilities include:
• Provide consistent and engaging care for the child
• Support the child’s development through appropriate play and activities
• Assist with domestic and personal care tasks for the child
• Excellent personal hygiene and grooming standards
• Collaborate with family and support professionals to ensure the child’s needs are met
• Maintain flexibility in working hours, including potential night support as needed

• Excellent communication skills
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with disability children in Australia
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain one ASAP)
• Current Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
• A minimum of 2 Australian-based child-related references
• Current National Criminal Record Check (or willing to obtain ASAP)
