Full Time Aviation Tradesperson

Your Role: 

Be a tradie in the Navy ensuring helicopters are kept in peak working order. You’ll work with Seahawk Romeo helicopters to maintain, diagnose and repair systems, equipment and components, working onboard ships and ashore.  

Whether you already have a trade, you're an apprentice, or you have no experience at all, we're hiring. You’ll be paid from day one to gain all the skills needed with extensive on-the-job trade training and work towards a Certificate IV in Aeroskills.

• Aviation Technician:  
  Be responsible for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft systems, equipment and components, including, transmissions, engine systems, aircraft structure and flight control systems.  
   
• Aviation Systems Technician:  
  Maintain the systems and components that turn an ordinary aircraft into a military helicopter, including but not limited to anti-submarine systems, aircraft weapons and navigation systems.

Salary:   

Upon completion of your initial military and employment training, you’ll enjoy a salary package starting from $81,452.
