SalaryWe are looking for a positive, motivated & professional Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at K'gari Beach Resort. This is a permanent full-time live-on island opportunity offering a competitive salary, working 10 days on and 4 days off across a broad rostering system of up to 76 hours a fortnight.
About You
- Have a professional outlook in the workplace and show an invested interest in the hustle and bustle of the Hospitality and Tourism industry
- Hands on approach to work

- Ability to work across multiple outlets
- Knowledge of chemical handling
- Knowledge of food handling
- Take pride in your customer service abilities to ensure our guests’ experience on island is one to remember!
- Offer guests a professional level of service in a relaxed and friendly environment
- Minimum 2-3 years' industry experience post qualification - preferably in a hotel / resort environment / banquette
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (highly regarded)
- Completed HACCP and Food Safety and Hygiene training
- Experience in a busy kitchen
- The ability to work across a broad rostering system, over a 7-day working week
- Manual licence (highly regarded)
- Great communication and organisational skills
- Efficient and effective time management skills
