Currently, Trident Services Australia has an exciting opportunity for energetic and bright customer and safety-focused Security Officers to join our team at Southbank Parklands – the relaxing and lush green parklands in the heart of the bustling Brisbane City.
As a Security guard at Southbank parkland, you will be focusing on creating a safe environment for the client and customers at all our sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with a current security license and the eagerness to progress their career.
Your main responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Retaining knowledge of the South Bank Corporation Act 1989, including powers of exclusion and authorised officers
- Identifying, reporting, and recording risks while on shift
- Assisting customer with a variety of inquiries
- Utilising strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Undertaking conflict resolution and de-escalation methods
- Maintaining a complete understanding of workplace protocols include Emergency procedures.
- Regular foot and vehicle patrolling as well as CCTV monitoring.
Minimum Criteria:
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
- Current Queensland Security License
- Current Unarmed License
- Current Crowd Control License
- Current Monitoring License
- Current Driver’s License
- Demonstrated at least 3 year’s experience as Security Officer
- High personal integrity and grooming standards.
- Ability to work events.
- Practical verbal and written communication skills.
- Incident management and reporting skills
- CCTV monitoring experience
- Well-developed client service skills.
- Customer Service experience.
