Hannah Early Learning Centre at Richmond is a small family owned private Childcare Centre with approval for 25 places. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Diploma qualified and Certificate 3Qualified Educator to fill new positions. This successful applicant will be working closely with Assistant Director and Director.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma in Children's Services
- Certificate 3 in Children's Services
- Current Senior First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Current working with Children Clearance number
- At least 1 - 3 years experience within an early childhood education setting preferred
- Sound knowledge of all relevant legislative policies, standards & requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of online childcare system platforms (e.g Xplor) or a similar online platform would be advantageous
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Requirements
- Demonstrated Strong Educational Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of EYLF & NQF with the ability to implement these into the Centre's educational program
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding in the collection, recording and evaluation of children's records and observations as required by the DOE
- A good understanding and awareness of the cultural needs of families
- The ability to establish and maintain good meaningful relationships with families and other educators.
Duties
- Ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the Centre for children, families and for your fellow educators
- Implementation of the NQF & EYLF Programs into the Centre's educational program
- Assist with the implementation of School Readiness Programs
- Documenting children's learning through observations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be a passionate Educator and Leader and strive to achieve and maintain the highest of standards within the Centre
- Act as a positive role model by providing mentoring, guidance and training to other Centre educators
- Embrace and maintain the policies and procedures of the Centre
- The ability to establish and maintain good meaningful relationships with families and other educators
- Communicate with staff, families and children in an open and honest manner ensuring at all times that care and education of the children remain the priority of the Centre.
