Your contribution to the team includes

The role of Fundraising & Philanthropy Manager is responsible for implementing and enhancing the philanthropic, fundraising and donor engagement strategy, programs and initiatives for the Club, the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation and the Western Bulldogs Forever Foundation. This role is also responsible for:

• Working in collaboration with all internal stakeholders for review of current fundraising activities and the current Fundraising Strategic Plan, and develop and implement key fundraising strategies for the Western Bulldogs.
• Identifying prospective donors and funding sources, in conjunction with the Board and Executive Leadership Team, and develop stewardship plans, involving key stakeholders as appropriate. 
• Regular communication and relationships with donors, including re-sociliciations, proper acknowledgement of gifts and pledge payments, reporting, visiting and providing regular information on the progress of the Club.
• Work with external consultations, Board & Executive Leadership team and Fundraising & Philanthropy Coordinator to drive the implementation of the major capital appearl for the Victoria University Whitten Oval redevelopment.
• Build a sustainable bequest development program by effectively prospecting, cultivating and soliciting bequest prospects.
• Prepare and manage fundraising operational budgets.
• Work collaboratively with the Western Bulldogs administration team in relation to fundraising and programs, communications, content and public relations outreach. 
• Lead the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation fundraising strategy and coordinate implementation of associated initiatives 

Skills and experience

• 5+ years experience related to fundraising and/or revenue generation related roles 
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Demonstrated experience working in a senior Fundraising or Philanthropic capacity
• Fundraising experience within a sporting environment is not essential, however it will be considered favourably
